J&Y Nail Studio Educators Jess Puan and Yoko Naito are both recognized and international accredited in professional training of nail technicians. We are proud that students recognize our commitment to fostering quality teaching, and we constantly update our teaching skills and acquire the latest methods to ensure their learning success. We are qualified educators from the prestigious Odyssey Nail System and we do not engage any teaching assistants hence students learn directly from us at all times, with expectations set high in our school, we believe all our students can and will achieve in our classes, and we never give up on any students.

While looking for the right Nail Academy in Singapore, one of the most important criteria often overlooked is the student-to-educator ratio. At J&Y Nail Studio, our ratio is capped at 5:1. With a maximum of 5 students to 1 Educator, our students can receive more personal attention and get more value out of their education. We maintain individual profile of our students and assess/coach them personally. At J&Y Nail Studio, you can progress at your own comfort level and learn at the pace which suits you, without the pressure of a rigid time table.

At J&Y Nail Studio we adopt a Flexible Timetable for our students, which means they have significant freedom over when they like to attend their courses. Be it work during the day or  commitments in the evening, with the freedom to plan their own timetable, students can better focus on their learning without time pressure. There are no ‘minimum to attend’ rule for our courses. Students can choose and start any course at any time depending on their own preference and our availability.

In The Midst Of Preparation

It's been a while since we posted any kind of updates on our blog, but the last few weeks has been pretty chaotic with the upcoming Global Nail Cup and most of our works in progress are confidential until the end of competition.

Nevertheless, we are always here for everyone and we will answer every message sent. Our nail courses will commence on July so make your arrangement soon!

Global Nail Cup 1 July @ Malaysia

The Global Nail Cup is currently one of the largest international professional nail competition in the world founded and sponsored by Odyssey Nail Systems. Originating in South Korea, GNC had over 1200 registrations from around the world in 2012 and just made its 7th edition in January 2013 in Seoul, Korea.

On behalf of Odyssey Nail Systems South East Asia, we are very proud and excited to bring this world class competition culture to our shores and having nurtured our nail competition arena in this region for the past six years, we are ready to present you the 1stGlobal Nail Cup Malaysia in Johor Bahru on July 1st, 2013

To-date, Global Nail Cup in Korea hosted competitors from over 32 countries including; USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Slovakia, Ireland, UK, Kazakhstan, Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Australia, Japan including its host country of South Korea.

This competition is open to all nail professionals.

ONS Nail Festival Singapore 20 May 2013

More than 40 over participants packed the Royal Seminar Room at Hotel Royal on the 20th May during the ONS Nail Festival Singapore. Just like the Kuala Lumpur ONS Nail Festival held few days before, this exclusive half-day event helped provide participants opportunities to witness straight from the Odyssey Nail Systems Education Team, of our latest techniques and skills in the nails trend.

ONS Korean Drama Nail Shop Paris

Odyssey Nail Systems is proud to be the sponsor for the first ever Korean Drama (Nail Shop Paris) which story revolves around the happenings of a girl disguised as a man working in the nail industry. ONS International Examination 2013

The 2013 ONS international Examination has come to a close with over 40 candidates from both Singapore and Malaysia. J&Y Nail Studio is proud to have the most number of students participating in the examination with 14 candidates! It was an exciting 2 hours which everyone showed great strengths and sportsmanship.

 

We are proud of our students who represented J&Y Nail Studio with class and pride. They were dedicated to going out on top, and everyone of them demonstrated their skills well.

Regardless of what score they will achieve in the results, they are already the true champions in the nail industry! Well Done!

We wil be at Liang Court on Sat and Sun!

We will be setting a  trade booth at Liang Court this coming Saturday and Sunday (11th & 12th) from 11am till 6pm.  This booth's objective is to provide an opportunity for everybody who is interested in our J&Y Nail Courses to know more about the courses and also about our academy. Some of our new products and artwork will also be shown at the booth, as well as demonstrations if the place permits :)
